Prostate: what are the benefits of Prost-Calm supplement?

  • Helps treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Antispasmodic
  • Helps combat hair loss (androgenetic alopecia)
  • Antioxidant, fights free radicals

With the combination of Serenoa Repens, Lycopene, Nettle, Pine Bark, Selenomethionine and Zinc, we have created Prost-Calm. Their ingredients are designed to create a synergy to help men.

Serenoa Repens (fruit) is of Florida origin and used by the Indians to treat urological disorders.
This plant has been used for centuries to treat symptoms associated with benign prostatic hypertrophy.
Its effectiveness has been proven by numerous studies and experiments. This explains why it has long been authorised by health authorities.
Due to its hormonal effects, Serenoa repens is also used to combat hair loss (androgenetic alopecia).
Finally, Serenoa repens is anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic. Remember, however, that this plant only acts on the symptoms caused by benign prostatic hypertrophy.
It has little effect on the size of the prostate.
Traditional medicine still uses it for nocturnal enuresis, urinary tract inflammations and eczema.

Lycopene is a carotenoid found in tomatoes. It helps support prostate health by preventing oxidative damage. It also improves heart, brain and eye health (rich in antioxidants). It is considered the most efficient free radical suppressant of all carotenoids.
Lycopene has potential benefits in the prevention of prostate, stomach, lung and breast cancer.
On the other hand, it improves bone mineralisation and protects against the onset of osteoporosis.

The diuretic and anti-inflammatory properties of nettle have long been known to popular medicine, which uses the leaves and roots of this plant to aid diuresis.
The use of this plant can be an excellent adjuvant remedy in the treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy.
Nettle is a perennial plant, native to western Asia, now widespread in all temperate regions of the globe, including Italy.
The plant’s active ingredient of urological interest is its rhizomes and dried roots, which are characterised by the presence of phytosterols and spoletin (anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory).

Selenium is a trace element found in the diet and is essential for humans; it is a constituent of several selenium proteins. Selenium is a great ally of our health.
Selenium is capable of intervening in the prevention of diseases such as cancer, degenerative or infectious diseases.

Supporting prostate function: zinc is essential for maintaining prostate health. There is a high concentration of zinc in the prostate, where this mineral helps regulate the growth and maintenance of prostate cells.
Its deficiency can eventually cause enlargement of the prostate gland.

Finally, pine is known as an excellent antioxidant.
