Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus Moench) root dry extract tit. 70% polysaccharides; Moringa (Moringa oleifera Lam.) leaves dry extract tit. 0.2% alkaloids; capsule: food grade gelatin; KSM-66® Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera (L. ) Dunal) root dry extract 5% withanolides; Moringa (Moringa oleifera Lam.) seeds dry extract 40% polysaccharides and 10% total glycosides; bulking agent: cellulose; maltodextrins; anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids.

Anyone familiar with Vita Complex, which means ‘intimately connected to life’ in Latin, knows that under Dr Lagarde’s instinct and guidance, we look for plants that can help us produce natural, effective, non-toxic food supplements that comply with current Ministry of Health regulations. Considering the number of still unknown plants (about 500,000) on our good old planet, we have a lot of work ahead of us! It will probably take dozens of generations!

These food supplements are mainly designed to combat vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Which is no small thing, since, according to the WHO, 70 per cent of the European population suffers from them.

Astragalus (Huang Qui) is nicknamed the ‘anti-ageing plant’.

Its properties are: energising, anti-fatigue, cardioprotective, strengthens the immune system and anti-cholesterol.

Astragalus membranaceus is one of the 50 basic herbs used in traditional Chinese medicine.

It helps the body protect itself against physical, mental or emotional stress and increases mental, physical and muscular endurance. It is often used by top athletes.

Moringa has the following properties: antioxidant, possesses essential amino acids, vitamins, energising and boosts the immune system.

‘Its leaves contain more calcium than milk, more vitamin C than oranges, more iron than spinach and more potassium than bananas ‘.(Arnold)
